There is an inadequacy in the support provided to local businesses in order to compete with MNCs and industrially produced goods.
Our motto is to bring into the market small scale manufacturers and local businesses that are unable to create their own markets.
Background
Numerous small businesses lose market share due to increasing influence of large globalized companies. Knowing that these small-scale businesses are the backbone of the country's economy, we at Grabbit have made it our mission to help these businesses grow on a fair ground.
Impact
Creating employment by increasing sales. ➢Giving small scale manufacturers a chance to showcase their skills on a wider platform. ➢Keeping money circulating in a localized environment in order to sustain and grow the economy
So, what problem are we solving?
The importance of buying local is well known, but there exist little ways in which a common customer can reach these local producers. Today it is way more convenient to order from home from big players in the market. There are many e-commerce platforms that allow customers to order goods from their houses, but no good system exists that allows customers to get their products from a desired local store. For years we have seen many big companies like amazon and flipkart dominate the markets with their warehouse strategies which compromise the customer base and diminish the sales for these small businesses .
